Call of the Nightingale cocked his head at the so called 'dead horse gap'. He snorted with amusement at the 'threatening' slopes covered with loose rock. He was unconcerned as could be and had no taste at all for 'legends' or 'myths'; sure he found them amusing, but that was just about it. He snorted and stomped an impressive silver dagger; sending shards of rock everywhere. He raised his head high and to the sky as it darkened and sent a shiver down his back.
He paused with one snow-white stockinged foot in the air;about to charge into the gap and confront what ever lay there. Harks pricked forward and nostrils flared he drew in the sent of the place. It was spooky he had to admit but he was not scared. Still, he walked cautiously into the gap.
